Transjakarta Operates East Bekasi-Bekasi Station Shuttle Bus

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) responded swiftly to operational disruptions affecting KAI Commuter services on the Cikarang-Bekasi line this morning.

To carry affected passengers at regular fares

Transjakarta's Public Relations Department and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani explained that the service was launched specifically to facilitate commuters stuck at East Bekasi Station in reaching Bekasi Station.

"Transjakarta has deployed shuttle buses to carry affected passengers at regular fares, serving as a tangible form of support for public mobility," onshe remarked on Tuesday (4/28).

Service Route:

Departure from East Bekasi Station to Bekasi Station.

Fleet:

Transjakarta has deployed four bus units specifically designated as shuttles.

Operational Hours:

The fleet is on full standby to assist passenger mobility while the railway evacuation process is underway.

Transjakarta’s management also conveys its sympathies regarding the misfortune.

"We hope the evacuation on the ground can be conducted smoothly and safely without further obstacles, and that everyone affected is given strength and resilience," she concluded.

Customers can stay updated with real-time service developments via Transjakarta’s official social media or the TJ: Transjakarta app. Earlier, a collision involving a long-distance train and a Commuter Line train was reported at East Bekasi Station, West Java on Monday night (4/27).

The incident occurred at 8:57 PM, with evacuation and recovery efforts still underway as of this morning.

"We offer our sincerest apologies to all passengers for this inconvenience. Our priority is the on-site recovery while ensuring passenger safety and service needs are met," KAI's VP of Corporate Communications, Anne Purba stated in a press release.
